The Golf-Digest Volvo Open Ballyliffin Golf Club

Designed around imposing dunes, the Glashedy Links at the world-famous Ballyliffin Golf Club has earned notoriety for its devilish bunkers and its testing opening three par fours, but a tricky start is hardly anything to complain about, especially when you consider the expansive views afforded by the course of the countryside, coastline and ocean.

The course opens with 3 mighty par 4’s surrounded by deep dunes and glorious greens, but the struggle is well worth it at the end. The rewarding last shot must be threaded along a corridor of dunes and between two revetted bunkers.

Entry to The Golf Digest Volvo Open is €65 per player and is open to all golfers who wish to participate, even those without an official handicap. Only golfers with an official GUI or ILGU handicap can enter the main Category competitions.  For more information Click Here
